Biography
Serving Others
My name is Melissa Ramoso and I am a public servant, advocate, a proud Gahr Gladiator and UC Irvine alumnus. I’m an active Artesia resident and former Vice President of the Friends of Artesia Foundation.
My passion for service comes from my immigrant parents. My mother is a retired county nurse and my father is a US Army veteran and retired federal employee. I was raised to believe that government should help make people's lives better.
For over fourteen years, I have represented federal and state legislators in serving their constituents. Currently, I am District Director to Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi where I coordinate a district office to help residents voice their opinions, access resources, and improve their communities.
My top priorities are:
- Making City Hall more accessible
- Improving the quality of life for all our neighborhoods
- Strengthening our local economy
I love so many things about Artesia. I am excited for its potential, possibilities, and promise. I can bring new energy and innovative ideas to move it forward without sacrificing what makes Artesia special. As our families grow, let’s make our wonderful city even better.
I respectfully ask for your vote.
